Arthritis & Fruit

There is evidence that fruit can be very beneficial to osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthiritis.

Fruit is really an essential, highly beneficial part of anyone’s diet. But for those with arthritis, there is some strong evidence that fruit such as pomegranate, figs, olives and various berries in particular are beneficial in reducing symptoms because these are particularly high in polyphenols.

I recommend everyone include at least 3 servings of fruit in their day because of the benefits, rotating around different fruits seasonally in order to get a wide variety of different nutrients. Because if fruit is beneficial in relieving symptoms, imagine how much better it would be as a preventative food-medicine.
