About Susan

My mission

Is to inspire, educate and support you to prioritise your own intelligent self-care so you can thrive.

About me

As a Naturopath for 22 years, my experience has allowed me to work with people from all walks of life. In addition, I have raised two children and am happily married with grandchildren. Managing my own autoimmune thyroid condition has provided me with valuable insights, as has navigating challenging times, including the loss of a beloved child from cancer. Grief has deeply impacted me, instilling compassion in my heart, and I enjoy helping people who have struggled to find their way back to joy.

As I get older, healthy ageing has become a particular interest of mine, and I firmly believe that we can age gracefully with good information and herbal allies. Given the current viral pandemic and its aftermath, I support individuals in developing robust, healthy immune systems. Moreover, given the upcoming wave of post-viral syndrome, I keep myself up-to-date on research in this area.

In my spare time, I love to cook authentic, simple, nourishing food, some of it from my own garden. My passion for gardening has also led me to grow and prepare some of my plant medicines. I firmly believe that we cannot indeed be of service to others unless we also love ourselves, and I enjoy helping people take excellent care of themselves with good information and a healthy, down-to-earth approach to food, natural medicines, and listening to their own bodies.

Accept yourself. Love yourself as you are. Your finest work, your best movements, your joy, peace, and healing come when you love yourself. You give a great gift to the world when you do that. You give others permission to do the same: to love themselves. Revel in self-love. Roll in it. Bask in it as you would sunshine.
